Hey Loves!!

If you couldn’t already tell, today is my birthday and I’m super excited to be launching this blog!!  However, let me take a step back and do a proper introduction for those that don’t know me.

My name is Carmen, but my friends call me CAG.  I’m an incredibly honest girl from Philly that loves fashion, hates working out, but love snatching waists and fathers.  I have been Vegan since July 2015 and I’ve lost about 40 lbs since starting my journey.  Though I’ve been blogging for years, I wanted to create a place that could serve as a resource for people interested in transitioning to Veganism and/or incorporating Vegan components into their diet.  I get A LOT of questions daily about Veganism (many similar questions) and saw the need to have a space where I can direct people to address their inquiries.

Oftentimes the Vegan community can be a bit scary, judgmental and a huge turnoff for newbies because they try to guilt people into Vegan with their self-righteous “animal rights rhetoric”.  (Don’t come for me PETA!) I’m not here to convince you to become Vegan at all!  I am of the mindset that it’s easy to create “converts” when you are honest and authentic about your journey by sharing the good, the bad and ugly that comes with it.   Do I miss meat? HELL YES!!  Do I believe you have to be Vegan to be healthy?  NOPE! Do I avoid the aisle at the market with cheese and eggs? YA GOTDAMN RIGHT! However, I enjoy feeling good and looking good in pictures and  Veganism has consistently delivered for me. (This is actually my 3rd stint at Veganism)

My goal is to share at least 2-3 blog posts per week.

  1. Vegan Meals with Recipes and Reviews
  2. Fitness Routines (Though I hate working out, it’s a necessary evil)
  3. Fashion (Hello!  I work hard on this body, I should be a lot to stunt, right?!)
